Re: Eisner’s
Assuming that we want to move from being sustainable in L1 to sustainable in the Championship, these are the capacities of clubs' ground with which we would have to compete. Grounds in Championship Ordered by Capacity 1. The Riverside Stadium home to Middlesbrough 33,746 2. Pride Park home to Derby ...

Re: Charlton
You lot have very short memories.
02.02.2021. Charlton 1 (Stockley) Portsmouth 3 (Jacobs, Naylor, Cannon)
Possibly the high point of last season for Pompey.

...and how many of those were necessary? Certainly the last two, against Cambridge for dissent against the assistant referee and against Plymouth for getting involved in an incident that had nothing to do with him, were totally avoidable. Time to stop being petulent.

Re: Let's talk about Jacobs
I'd love to see him and Morrell in the team together. I don't think you will see Jacobs replacing Williams as Cowley will want two defensive-ish CMFs. Probably get to choose one from Jacobs, Harness and Azeez, in a 3-4-3 or 3-4-1-2 formation depending on your choice. I want to see more of Azeez, bu...

Re: US Soccer salary furore
Am I right in thinking players don’t get paid for playing for England? I may be out-of-date here (what's new?), but footballers do get paid for playing for England. However, the men's team then donate their payments to the team's chosen charity for the year. I don't know if the women do the same. G...

Re: Back from the game - MK Dons
How did Scott Twine play? I'm interested as we showed an interest in him before he signed for MK Dons. He did well and looked OK, but then so did the rest of the MK team. To be a bit harsh, to have failed to score when your team is so much on top and there are so many opportunities is a bit of a ne...

Re: Back from the game - MK Dons
Thanks SB. I was dreading doing a BFTG as I don't want to think about it too much, but some brief thoughts, apart from just agreeing with you. Overall Pompey were sluggish, and looked a yard slower in all areas than MK. The Cowleys put a lot of emphasis on workrate and closing down and we had neithe...

Re: MK Dons
BFTG tomorrow, but the takeaway message is that we were dreadful. Should have been 3-0 or 4-0, but for some poor finishing and Bazunu brilliance.

Re: HELP, HELP, HELP!!
PP that would be great if you could. I don't really want to register...living in Spain I don't visit very often but I used to live in MK and this would be good opportunity to visit friends + footy. How would it work if you bought them? 8) We meet at the ground and you give me money. It will be abou...

Re: Any transfer rumours??
The management change they should have made after the Sunderland play off fiasco or at the latest the Oxford play off disaster.... Sunderland did a really good job on us over two matches, and I think you can only tip your hat to them. In contrast, the Oxford play-offs were just a complete shambles....
