Re: Stevenage
Just a question if anyone can help me understand why when we have the option of Saydee and Robertson to play behind Bishop did we waste our time using Whyte in that position to absolutely no affect whatsoever are the management trying to justify his signing as so far this season his contribution ha...

Re: Stevenage
Unbeaten run now at 15 games and avoiding defeat on Saturday will create a new record not achieved for almost 100 years.
Incredible really.
But too many draws have been our undoing and we need some extra wins to avoid a repeat of last season.

Re: England in World Cup Final
Hardly scathing, Mick. I just thought the standards of the two games were different although I did enjoy a lot about the Final.
Anyway, I think this ship has sailed now.

Re: What Should Pompey do before the end of this Transfer Window?
We have a problem on both wings. I think Whyte has had his chance and it's time to get someone in that position. A player able and willing to take on a left back, find space and get balls into the danger areas. Paddy Lane may be the answer but I'm not convinced. Also not convinced by Scully. He's a ...

Re: England in World Cup Final
Well, the first part is a joke for those with a sense of humour, the second part is a genuine enquiry. I would genuinely like to see a review of England's performance from a EUFA qualified coach. I would go so far to say, this message board is lucky to have someone who could contribute such an infor...

Re: England in World Cup Final
Simple physics. Speed is velocity, ie. how fast a body is moving.(mph). Acceleration is rate of change eg. 0 to 60. In football terms ‘change of pace’ is often more useful to beat an opponent than outright top speed. In that case, acceleration trumps speed. I had hoped to hear that from the "E...

Hey, party-pooper here! I agree about the standard improving but the women's game is a world away from the level of the men's in almost every respect - technique, athleticism, tactics, pace....etc - so I cannot get on board with all the hype and the ridiculous comparison with the achievement of '66...
