Since Sam brought up the subject of running
As running is on the agenda at the moment, I mentioned in Sam's thread that I'm doing the GSR next month.
I am trying to raise money for Fleur de Lys FC, as most of you know I have been coaching there for 15 years.
If I raise at least £1000, I shall run the streets of Southsea in a Southampton FC shirt. I'm good at dodging when people throw tomatoes at me. Especially when they're still in the tin.
Anyway, if anyone would like to contribute to my humiliation, the Just Giving link is https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/scott-andrews
Thank you kindly in advance!

Sounds slightly more dangerous than that scene from Die Hard 3 when Bruce Willis has to dress up in a billboard with choice words on it in Harlem .Locky_McLockface wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 4:04 pm If I raise at least £1000, I shall run the streets of Southsea in a Southampton FC shirt. Happy to donate to a good cause.

No stress. I know firsthand how important it is to have a release like playing football not just for the physical benefits but the mental and social ones as well. I think your blurb on the page explains it really well.
