Toon

Well, now I'm torn. Always have a sly chuckle when the Toon lose but I like Eddie Howe.
Still, it will be funny if they go down this season after the gazillionaire dodgy purchase.
Eddie should have waited a day and gone to Villa
Div III. Call it what it is.

Expectations will be high and even if the money is there its a big ask.
Agree with Cinc on Eddie though , a decent bloke and a decent manager -good luck Eddie you will need it.

Can't believe he's gone there. He didn't like it up north last time.

Good luck to the man. This is as big an opportunity you can probably get in football these days. I hope he does well.

big job with big pressure, but i wish him all the best

I am torn too, cant stand Newcastle, another "big" club who believe its their god given right to have success.

When the take over was announced they had one of the fan group on saying that it was amazing and that the fans deserved this !! on what basis, because you support your club through thick and thin you deserve a sugar daddy owner . Part of me wants it all to go horribly wrong, but not for EH

Not fussed about toon, but am interested to see hoe EH copes with the pressures of a big club with stratospheric expectations. I hope he is up to the task as he seems like a decent person.

I don’t have any particular affection for NUFC but I can see how some might think their long suffering fans deserve better days.

I can’t think of another club which has had gates as large as they have with no success worth speaking of for over 50 years.

It won’t hurt us if they have some success, so good luck to them says I.

The probity of their new owners is a different matter though.

Did anyone ever question where the Gaydermark money came from?

Where do you get this information from Portchester? Surely that cannot be true...the FA would never sanction something like that!!

Would they?
