Bit of an enigma eh? I’ve been giving him the benefit of the doubt for a long time and hoping he’ll find form again but so far he’s not been able to.
He’s obviously got the talent looking over his record so what is the issue with him? Is he just past it? Manager doesn’t know how to get the most out of him? Confidence?
I just have it at the back of my mind if he were to leave that wherever he goes he’ll probably end up starting smashing them in again.
Marquis - If he does leave could you see him doing well?

Whatever he's done in the past or will do in the future doesn't really matter. He doesn't do it for us for some reason. He should move on and good luck to him

Re: Marquis - If he does leave could you see him doing well?
If he does move on I would think the club he moves to will know how they want to use him. They would have done the necessary ground work and assessed how he is best accommodated. If they think he fits the bill they will sign him unlike when we bought him, it would seem. I think it is plainly obvious that Marquis is best used in a strike partnership and not as a lone striker. Quite why Jackett bought him and then played him as a lone striker is beyond me. So in answer to the thread question as to whether he would be any good elsewhere my answer is yes, as long as the next club uses him in the best way.
