Currently sitting at £330, though have been promised cash from the folks next time I visit. To help bump up the coffers I'm willing to carry sponsorship on my back. So if anyone out there has a company that would like to sponsor me, please send me a pm or reply; all reasonable offers considered!

Just broke my long distance running record. Four miles done tonight, in 35 minutes too which I'm well chuffed with. Four weeks to go so I'm stepping it up a gear.

An excellent day today in my preparation, did some good sponging at work today, got £40 of sponsorship, and another £11.11 from selling some cakes I made.

On top of that, did a 5 mile run tonight, in 43:45. :D

Current total is £411.11, I've given up more or less on the overly ambitious £1000 target, but would be excellent to get to at least £500. Still happy to sell sponsorship space on my back. A4ish size, bids can start £50. Any takers?

If anyones got any ideas for incentives of what I should do if i get to £500, let me know. Not wearing a saints shirt for less than £1000 though! (...and not brave enough to wear a Pompey one)

Actually - as the web site crashed on me as I was just donating, it told me to try later, so I did. Both payments were taken. This isn't some Ali Al Baba and his 40 incompetent football club owners website is it?

So you got a Brucy bonus double from me!

Have fun. :thumb

I've heard there's been problems with quite a few people trying to pay in, and I've experienced myself, with the website saying try again later.

I don't think two payments have gone in though. Assuming you are initials MF, then I've had one payment of £10. If you've been charged twice (you may want to double check) I'd get on to your credit card company / bank / sport relief and see what can be done.

As an update, I'm now within spitting distance of £500.

I did email the link for sportrelief, but no reply yet. Bank account def shows 2 payments gone. I will try and chase. Once sorted I'll make sure you get both payments.

MF (middle initial D --> MDF (my life is sooo much fun!!))

Got an email back from SportRelief about double payment. It is sitting "pending" at the moment, so I have told them to add it to your total.

Best of luck! :thumb

Thanks, has shown up in total. Now sitting at £494.11 with 13 days to go. So close to breaking 500. I think around £150 has come from this board, so thank you all very much for your generosity. Quite something to think I've raised nearly enough for 100 mosquito nets.

Ok, the game is upped. I'm not bringing down the amount for the scummer shirt, but...

£500 - I will dye my hair red for the run
£750 - I will do it with a red Mohawk
£1000 - All of the above in a Southampton shirt.

13 days to go, £494.11 raised so far.

Current total £657.07 still a long way off having to wear the saints shirt, but very close to the Mohawk, but only a few days left so it'll be tight. Photos will be provided whatever the outcome.

If you've not yet donated, please do for this very worthy cause.

Just broke the £750 barrier, excellent stuff! Thank you so much to everyone here that has donated. You are all superstars.

Pictures of my nice red Mohawk will be on here for all to enjoy.

Slightly worried though, I'm only £247.23 away from wearing a Southampton shirt. Not expecting to get it, but it's too close now for comfort.
Annie.
