British Summer Time ends - board settings

Post by RubiconCSL »

Just a reminder. As BST has now ended, to make sure times show correctly in threads to you, update your User Control Panel:-

http://thepompeychimes.net/forum/ucp.php?i=165

Change the setting for "Summer Time/DST is in effect" to "no".

Done.

As you may know, British Summer Time (BST) is a period when the clocks in the United Kingdom are set one hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+1). This adjustment aims to make better use of daylight during the warmer months. However, BST comes to an end in the autumn, usually on the last Sunday of October, when the clocks are turned back one hour to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or UTC
