Yes, but on the proviso that the trust owns the club.

Not really. I can't get all wound up over hatred or anything as daft as that, I just think he's a limited football manager and one whose preferred method seems to be to spend money.

It's not likely to work if he did come back, is it?

I doubt he'd manage anyone outside the prem again . The writing is on the wall for him to be in a job at QPR or saints before Xmas .

Possibly (more likely the Saints: closer to home), but I just think he's not good enough. His time at Spurs underlined that anyway, and rather like Curbishley it's not as if clubs are beating a path to his door, is it?

The writing may well be on the wall for him as a manager.

If I had any say (and it's probably as well that I don't) then we should be talking to Owen Coyle.

I'd welcome him if he put £5m in the coffers of the PST and took a £100k a year salary.

You missed option 5 - I'd rather Matt Le Tissier were given the job!

I reckon he'll offer to manage the club for 12 months for free. And we'll snap his arm off.

What a ridiculous question to be asking! There is no way HR would come back to us. He likes to have a cheque book to fall back on and sadly we dont have anywhere near the level of funds to enable him to be successful.

HR is waiting for the QPR job if you ask me...

I do hope the OP has drunk 15 pints of Guinness and followed that with several glasses of red wine. Has to be the most ridiculous idea for years.
Paid to drink beer, lie on a beach, see the world and the Queen trusted me. Bargain!!!
