Since its formation, how many Premiership sides have represented places that were not cities?

I don't know about that but if Hull City's name is allowed to be changed to Hull Tigers, there will be no English football team with a name where you can't colour in any of the letters.

Sunderland could also be included I think coz they only gained city status relatively recently.
Will take your word for Notts Forest not being in Nottingham.
