York to Pompey

Post by Ronald Dinlo »

More adventures in shameless promotion... Tomorrow, the #bigpompeyride heads up to York in anticipation of the start of our 300 mile ride back to Pompey. We'll be arriving at Fratton Park in time for kick-off on Saturday.

We're aiming to raise £32,000 in support of seven local charities & one in York. We're currently around the £26K mark and would appreciate every help to get us there. More information about the ride and the charities we're supporting is here: http://www.bigpompeyride.co.uk and if you wanted to make a donation, you can do so here: https://www.justgiving.com/Neil-Hardcastle/ or text YTOP75 £amount to 70070

If donating isn't your thing, we'd still appreciate help in sharing on social media or whatever you can do to keep the buzz around the ride going for the next few days (cheeky sticky request, mods?). Thanks. PUP

Good luck to you all Neil - it's an amazing thing you are doing. Will be following your progress on social media, and will be there at Fratton Park on Saturday to meet and greet you all. What are the plans for your arrival? Where, what time?

Already stuck some cash in for Little Tom. If Vern fulfils his threat re Mike Saunders, there'll be a little bit extra going in as well. :D

Great to see that everyone arrived safely. Just made a (late) donation, which can still be done on the following:

Great stuff, thank you all for your support. We've beaten our target of £32,000 and still have money coming in.
