You're right, I haven't seen anything from Stef in a long time.
As ISF says, let us know you're OK, please.

Re: Does anyone know if Stef is ok?
If you mean Stef who posted as Stefeni elsewhere then the news is that she sadly died last summer (ish). I have no other details as I didn't know her personally.
If that's not who you mean, apologies for butting in a bit.

Re: Does anyone know if Stef is ok?
I bring very sad news - I have been informed Stefeni who was a regular on this board sadly passed away Saturday after being admitted to hospital last Thursday. This was totally unexpected. (25th August last year)
RIP Stefeni.
RIP Stefeni.

So sad to hear this.
RIP Stef, and thanks for all the posts, especially in years gone by, which I always enjoyed reading.

Re: Does anyone know if Stef is ok?
I recognise the username but don't think I had too many interactions myself but we're a good community on here and it's never nice to know one of our own has passed. Condolences to her family, friends and those on here who knew her better than me. Sounds like she will be missed. Does anyone know if there is anyway we can help her family or any charity she loved? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be happy to donate.
On a side note (and hopefully not to distract from this topic) does anyone know what happened to a user called "sacre blue"? I was going through a tough time a few years back and he reached out to me kindly and we shared a few private messages. Seen he's not logged in for quote a while. This topic just reminded me I sent him a message about a year back and he didn't respond.

What a shame. I can remember when I was first on 606 even before the days of the evening news being online.
Stef would hand type all the Pompey articles from the paper and post them in 606.
I was living in the states at the time so it was greatly appreciated

Sad news, was always very keen on the news side and seem to remember her saying she wanted to go into that professionally (?). Been quiet on here for a few years, or seems that way, and just hope they had been good to her. RIp

Re: Does anyone know if Stef is ok?
Just to add my condolences as well.
In addition to the News items, Stef was also involved with the Pompey memorabilia exhibition at the City Museum. It's my impression that she worked at the museum for a while.
Rest in Peace, Stef

Re: Does anyone know if Stef is ok?
You are right Milton, Stef worked at the Museum.
She was one of the bravest people I had the pleasure to meet. Her candid explanation to those of us on this board of her transition, the stages of operations, pill regime, and psychological counseling, all undertaken against a backdrop of unacceptance and prejudice (by none on this board, I assure you). It left me humbled.
RIP Stef, you are now free to be the angel we all knew you were inside.
