Lost on penalties after Wednesday scored in the 98th minute to level the tie. Wowzers.

I'm pleased Wednesday will be a force next season.

Plus Peterborough didn't deserve it after all the games they lost.

Huge credit to Darren Moore. We'll need the same determination and belief next season.
Super Matt Macey in goal...

Well done to Wednesday
Hope they get promoted and get out of L1 (which hopefully clears an easier path for our promotion push next season)

Incredible game in the context of what happened in the first leg. I think the 4-0 lead did Peterborough no favours, they had the wrong mindset & just couldn't get any rhythm @ all.

I watched the game and it was an incredible game of football. Darren Moore is a top manager and their supporters dragged them over the line. Incredible game. I bet the Peterborough fans can't believe what just happened.

Anyone remember our play off game v Sunderland, 1-0 down and Jackett threw the towel in before the kick off.

Who would have thought it possible to come back from a 4 goal deficit?! It won't do much for supporters with a nervous disposition in future.

I'm sure Daragh MacAnthony will be kicking off about it. But then the day ends in a Y - so business as usual.

I do remember that game, turned round to my dad after about 10 minutes and said it had 0-0 written all over it. I think I was hoping that by saying it, I'd make it not happen!

This is one of those games that reminds us why we love football. It had all the elements that make the game so great. It was all there with Sheffield Wednesday needing to score 4 goals to level the tie which meant they had to go on all-out attack. There was a passionate crowd going to the game with no expectations except hope. The drama of scoring the equaliser deep into injury time and then Peterborough spoiling the party by scoring in extra time and then the delight of an equaliser to set up a dramatic penalty shoot out. As a fan of a club can you imagine all the emotions that the Wednesday supporters must have gone through? The crowd must have been at fever pitch by the time they got to penalties. Football can be such a great game but it can also send you into depression.

I caught the end of the game last night in a pub where half the people watching were Wednesday fans, and the other half we're a mix of blades, Rotherham, Barnsley and Leeds.

When Peterborough scored, the roof nearly came off. When Wednesday scored again bodies and beers were everywhere.

I bet the 4000 Wendies who sent their tickets back for a refund feel a bit sick today.
