You may wish to take this up with wokings owners for their lack of ambition compared to the Milton end refurb

It was thrown out by the government, hardly the fault of the owners.

I know for a fact people have commented on the issues with the train links \ sub station near FP being with the club \ owners in the past.

I would hope that now that the ground has been tarted up that the owners will realize that fans will only be patient for so long. It will be interesting how season ticket sales go during the early bird period compared to last season for renewals which will give an indication of how many have opted not to renew(we have) as opposed to total sales which include new people taking up absent seats

Pleased to see the Milton End get a much needed overhaul, looks much better and increases capacity once again.

I expect 23/24 season ticket sales to be similar to 22/23.

The improvement in facilities in the Milton End and the ability to segregate it better is long long long overdue.

I must admit that I don't like the design for the new Milton End. I think it looks like a 1930's structure with a modern-day inside. Maybe that is the look that they wanted and it will make Fratton Park unique. When they come round to upgrade the North & South stands I would assume that they will have a similar dated look, otherwise the Milton End would look rather odd. Not that fashion bothers me as it never has but I just don't find the old look appealing. As I have said Fratton Park will be unique and it will have character, unlike a lot of these modern stadiums that become souless bowls. I am glad that work is being done and the old ground will have a future and modern infrastructure, just not one I like the look of.

Obviously it’s not as exciting as a brand new stadium or a £10m signing but I think the ground improvement work is very impressive. It’s still FP but more convenient.

We have actually caught up about 25 years in the last couple in terms of our facilities so well done to all concerned sez I.
