“Season ticket numbers increased to 13,965, many fixtures at Fratton Park were sold out in the home sections, while we took up our full allocation on several occasions on the road.

Interesting considering we had a few vocal users stating they were sure people wouldn’t want to renew. Glad that wasn’t the case.

That was for this season - cost of living could be an issus this time round.

The tiered pricing is less dramatic than I was expecting, and impacts less areas of the ground.

That being said I'm considering getting one even though I only get down about 5 times a season I might go more if I could sit with my old man, also means I'd be able to get tickets for some of the away games I can make relatively easily rather than waiting till members windows and again not get to sit with my old man.

Fortunately I know a a few folk who would be able to use it when I didn't - but it's a big sum of money on top of the 5 hours travel each way!

Am I right in thinking this is the first price increase for a few years?

Yes, since 2019. Fair dues to the club on this. There is also one advantage of getting old. Mine will be at the senior rate this season for the first time ever. A saving of over £100. :)

I think our pricing is fairly competitive where compared to other teams in the league.

If you look further at the post the author has admitted that it’s the lowest price ticket he’s comparing most other clubs have a quite aggressive tied pricing structure for most popular areas of the ground
