Portsmouth Women
Announced today that the women’s team will be totally integrated with the club and Tornante providing funding to allow semi professional status for players
Most interesting is that their new board members will be the Eisner Women which considering the status of women’s football in the states is really positive
I think this shows Tornante are here to stay no matter what happens in the short term

Probably a bit too wokey cuddly for some - but it's excellent news.

Re: Portsmouth Women
What's wrong with women Chief Constables? As long as they are the best qualified for the job and not given it just because of their gender for the 'right' look. I think you two are being rather chauvinistic and dismissive.phat_chris wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:49 amWomen in football? Pah! Whatever next? Re: Portsmouth Women
Very welcome news and well done to the Eisners !
I remember my wife having to contribute towards the Pompey Kit that the Pompey Ladies used to wear.
Women’s football has come a long way in the last 25 years or so!
