Reminds me of the Arsenal “invincible” season where Pires dived to win a pen against us. Still annoys me 20 years on lol.

Funny how a game so long ago can bring up string emotions, I can still get annoyed about the Leicester game in the rain, luckily didn’t matter in the end

This is what getting old feels like I’m learning lol. 20 years ago I came back to Pompey to uni and I remember that first year fondly. I didn’t go to any matches because it was impossible that first year in the prem but you could hear the Pompey chimes all the way over in Langstone Campus is the wind was blowing in the right direction.

I’m still foolish enough to play football at 38 and had a few lads wearing Arsenal tops were weren’t even born back in 2003 so when I mentioned I still think Henry in 03/04 was the best strikers we’ve seen in the premier league I’m met with confusion!
