FA Cup Final
We're not in it this year?
Anyhoo...Mancini out at the end of the game.....I guess you have to win the league every year to keep your job at Chelski and Man Citeh.
Martinez will also probably be off .....to Newcastle would be my edumacated guess.
Also, this should be the last domestic game of the year. Its appalling that Villa and Chelsea played today and Wigan have to play a survival game in a couple of days.
Who should we like to see win?.....well, anyone but Man City.

Today is FACup final day . There was a time when it was the last game of the domestic season and it was such an event , it lasted all day .

Wouldn't worry about the empty seats Jasp....they're just the ones on the halfway line so its only the corporate chaps that haven't finished their martinis and prawns yet. Speaking of martinis......Jeeves!Number 1 Jasper wrote:Today is FACup final day . There was a time when it was the last game of the domestic season and it was such an event , it lasted all day .

Re: FA Cup Final
Well, I must admit to going to watch the baseball team here 3-4 times a year and never taking my seat due to the fact that the seat in the bar has the same view but with waitresses and alcohol.

Re: FA Cup Final
Empty seats all over the stadium yesterday, not just in the prawn sandwich area. I think all Cup Finals since the new Wembley opened have had empty seats. A sign of the times, ridiculous pricing and now madcap kick off times. The Cincinnati Kid wrote:Wouldn't worry about the empty seats Jasp....they're just the ones on the halfway line so its only the corporate chaps that haven't finished their martinis and prawns yet. Re: FA Cup Final
Well I'm happy. I had my grand national winnings (£11.25) on a Wigan win at 8/1
That was my first, and will be my last, ever bet on football. Far too nerve wrecking so I'll quit while I'm ahead.

Just in case you didn't know, the biggest crowd so far at the new Wembley Stadium has been the 89,874 who watched the 2008 Final between Cardiff City and Portsmouth

I agree Jasper. Should be last game of the season. Ridiculous kick off time.Number 1 Jasper wrote:Today is FACup final day . There was a time when it was the last game of the domestic season and it was such an event , it lasted all day .

Remember the good old days when ...
Jimmy Saville introduced the Teams cup final songs on Top Of The Pops.
Stuart Hall compered Its a Cup Final Knockout.
And Tarby led the community singing.
Oh hang on .....

Re: FA Cup Final
Citeh crack me up - hundreds of millions on what? Didn't win the league, f**ked up in the Champions League, lost the FA Cup to a team fighting relegation...
Holy Mother - when are these peeps with endless streams of cash going to wake up? I don't think I've ever seen a more clear cut case of "all we have to do is turn up...".
Well done Wigan.
(...although, I wonder how much Whelan has pumped in over the years...??)
