Re: Chelsea U23s
A Lincoln fan putting on Twitter other day he usually gets some good players in near the end of the transfer window.
Even though this summer is like no other regarding the club not really knowing till late that they could sell season tickets, now with that happening next week I think the taps maybe opened a little.

you have to remember that premier league and championship clubs dont normally let people go out on loan, or let them get transferred until after they have had to finally submit their squads, which means the later you wait the more likely you are to pick up players.
I did see the reports today that Sheffield Wednesday are going to beat us to the signing of Josh Sims
Erm we are not in for him, he hasnt been on trial here, Cowley has said he wasnt interested yet we are still being pipped to the signing. Journos love making a transfer drama out of absolutely nothing this time of year

Can only see one realistic way forward and that is if DC can get in three more good quality season long loans where the parent clubs help subsidise wages. White at Tottenham could be one. Then a couple of permanents (possibly one free and one around £500k, as we were to pay that for Stockley) using up the rest of the wage budget.

Although I would like to see some exciting signings like every other Pompey fans especially when you see other clubs making them. We have to bare in mind we have some expensive signings already in our team. Admittedly from the Jacket era never the less Danny has to got to get the best out of them if he can’t sell them on. Marquis, Harness, and Harrison.
Laughter is the jam on the toast of life. It adds flavor, keeps it from being too dry, and makes it easier to swallow.

Too true. And on a quiet/lazy day on the sports desk they dust off Ben Thompson yet again.Portchesterblue2 wrote:
