Wonder if we'll go through the farcical situation again of there being numerous triallists whom The News are not allowed to name and then gradually all the names come out over the course of the next few days.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!

Re: Start of Pre Season Training Tomorrow.
why is it a farcical situation, its always been that way, the time the press knew the names was when Harry used to tell them everyones name, resulting in half of them signing for other teams because they knew they were available.rumourmonger wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 2:26 pm Wonder if we'll go through the farcical situation again of there being numerous triallists whom The News are not allowed to name and then gradually all the names come out over the course of the next few days.

Maybe do your due diligence by watching them in action at their previous clubs before inviting them down to see if they fit your promised and planned fast attacking football style

would they not do that anyway, hence asking them for a trial ??
I get there will be some that are being hawked around by their agent and just looking for a shop window in the hope of impressing, but i would imagine that the majoirty are invited to come and trial

Re: Start of Pre Season Training Tomorrow.
4 trialists, 1 is a keeper and no Aiden O'Brian according to the Snooze.
There is nothing wrong with trialists, the issue last season was we needed them to make up enough numbers for training sessions and rotation, some we had no real interest in actually signing others we did.
Also, isn't this season a bit off with such an early return to ore season so out of contract players are still actually under contract at their existing clubs so does that mean someone like say Marlon Pack might not be training with us yet ever if we had agreed to sign him?
