Board Meetup 22/23

Post by Sam_Brown »

Apologies. It's been a trying few months this end so I've not been on top of the previous topic which I can't find anymore.

Things are finally on the up so wanted to resurrect the idea of a board meetup for the new season. We had a pretty positive response to the previous topic so let's try and get something organised and in the calendar for the new season! I think the last sticking point was where to have it. Some people suggested somewhere before the game and a few booking somewhere for an evening. I'm not massively au fait with where might be a good place (I think someone suggested a place there have been a few meetups before) so hoping for recommendations! I'm happy to do all the legwork with bookings etc.

Hi Sam.

I live a bit far away and have no family left in Pompey now, so probably won't get down I'm afraid. Way back, when I did use to get down to a few games, such get-togethers were either at https://theholeinthewallpub.co.uk/ or somewhere in Petersfield I never managed to get to.
Like many, trust few and always paddle you own canoe.

Any options at the ground would be worth exploring?
