Re: Owls v Pompey
It’s why I don’t bet on football matches. I did think of putting a large bet on Cardiff in 2008 as consolation for a Pompey defeat. I didn’t bother in the end.
Avatar: Harry 'Brusher' Mills (19 March 1840 – 1 July 1905) was a hermit, resident in the New Forest in Hampshire, England, who made his living as a snake-catcher. He became a local celebrity and an attraction for visitors to the New Forest. No relation as far as I know

Re: Owls v Pompey
Didn’t hear the match but live text suggesting Weds fouling quite a lot and being a bit desperate in some of their tackles.

Re: Owls v Pompey
After all the doom and gloom at halftime, what a result, nobody really expected that
You can take the man out of Pompey

Re: Owls v Pompey
They are physical but nothing ott. Man sent off for two stupid yellows. Pompey give as good as they get.

Re: Owls v Pompey
We were slow and unimaginative in the first half but way better attacking in the 2nd half. Big shame we let the lead slip but a drawer would've been fine before kick off. PUP

Re: Owls v Pompey
Thought that was a pretty good showing from Pompey. Obviously need some beefing up in places..Curtis was his usual ineffective self (even when switched to the left)..all the newbies put in a good stretch and will only get better. All in all a good start away against a team that will surely be in the top 5 or better.

3-3 away at Wednesday is good - particularly on the first day. Can see that Pack wants to make things happen and drive the team.

Re: Owls v Pompey
DC did will to sort the team out at half time, we were good second half. Thought Pack looked a cut above, quality. Front two grew into the game and look like a promising duo. PUP
