Post by The Cincinnati Kid »

Very hard to say this but....cmon Frenchies!
Time for Mmmmbop to inherit the Messi / Ronaldo mantle as the next generation moves forward.

I haven't watched a single second of the competition but my friends in Holland were anything but complimentary about the Argies after their match against them. For that reason alone I side with you.

I don’t care who wins. Unlike Pompey and England matches I can just watch and hopefully witness a great contest with one qualification. I hope the best team wins not just the luckiest.

I was always a fan of Ronaldo over Messi for the better part of two decades but seeing Ronaldo’s antics over the last few months has made me want this to become Messi’s World Cup to put a full stop on the argument of who is the best.

Best team winning at half time. But remember England being 2-0 up in a World Cup match against the Germans?

Best team won. Leaving aside the background, it’s been a great competition.

Great match, best team won.
The football was alot better than other world cups.
Maybe because the players weren't knackered like other world cups after along season.

Didn’t much care for Mbappe’s performance after the match was over. He was naturally upset but might have shown a bit more British stiff upper lip, particularly when his President tried to comfort him.
