Oxford Tuesday

Post by Selsey Crab »

What do we really think our chances of getting the three points to keep us in with a shout of promotion. It seems they have some quality players but not playing as a team. Ironically, speaking to friend from up there, many still see Mous as a future manager, such was the affiliation he had with the club.
Not many are keen on manning who would have certainly have gotten MKDons relegated.

Most interesting to me is Bernard in for Robertson every time I’ve seen him he’s impressed one of our better loan choices but no way will we be able to keep him

Experimenting from Mousinho I guess. I wonder how much he'd like to win against his old club.

Not so much of an experiment it’s the back 4 we started with so well at MK Dons and worked until Morrell lost it

Just a thought about our away matches this year maybe I’m a dinosaur but was it not the case that we always wore our traditional blue / white kit away unless there was a colour clash what is this rubbish idea of always wearing a second or third kit for away games
I get the commercial idea but sometimes tradition is more important or maybe as I can’t make the match tonight I’m just bored

Boy this is such a poor game, free kick after free kick, to say its scrappy is being generous. Free kicks every minute or so, any constructive football is coming from Pompey. Only a superb free kick from Pack is worth recording. We should surely beat Oxford , they are terrible, but we are not much better.

1-1 HT and we have four Players booked, the Referee seems determined to find his red card
You can take the man out of Pompey
But you can`t take Pompey out of the man

One small point. it saddens me to see Pompey largely discarding their royal blue colours these days. Pompey's traditional colours are royal blue but we rarely see it nowadays. I dislike the use of brown and green more frequently,

I thought it was 5. Either way this ref is diabolical. And so is the match.
