Sorry to soar over the Wing jokes but some serious mutterings going on about signing Panutche Camara on loan from the Tractor boys, they would like to have Bishop as part of the deal, but that’s wishful thinking.

McKenna had said both he and Elkan Baggott will be sent out on loan
Camara missed half of the season last year injured then never got a look in when fit
Season before he had a good season at Plymouth scoring 4 with 6 assists from central midfield
Baggott is a centre back
So Camara could fill the 8/10 spot and Baggott a backup in case Bernard doesn’t sign
But neither could possibly replace Bishop so think him being part of any deal is not likely unless they throw Pigott in as he’s leaving as well
But even then it weakens the team

I know Mous has dismissed the idea of signing him but as a loan deal what’s not to like? The only issue is if he breaks down we could struggle along until January but look at the advantages alongside the Bish

Tractor boys web site saying they have had two bids for Bish turned down think they need to pay mega bucks for us to let him go Strikers worth their weight in gold

Definitely. If we are serious about going up this season then I'd like to keep Bishop. After so many years without a good forward we shouldn't let one go now. There is no guarentee we'll be able to replace him with someone as good.

I appreciate having prolific strikers is very difficult at the best of times, but it seems the situation has got worse and quite a few Championship and League One clubs are desperately seeking them out. It wont surprise me as a result of this shortage some clubs are willing to pay a premium for them so by holding on to Bish we have a big advanatge which I hope we dont throw away.
