Hopefully Hughes has something up his sleeve and is not cheap and cheerful? If you want that position to provide goals then you need to bring in quality, otherwise no point.

Should have been the No.1 outfield priority IMO. I guess there's still time to plug that considerable gap. Would like to see us maybe getting a top loan player from a Premier club. We need to do financially, whatever it takes to get some creative spark there. Otherwise, I think Lowery might work there.

Yeah, I've seen the Dutch source. Nice little place, Volendam with a stadium capacity of under 7k, and not expected to win, every week. A great fish stall on the main tourist drag. 30 minutes by taxi from the centre of Amsterdam if you get bored.

A decent choice for a young talent, with not the greatest appetite for the physical challenges of playing in the third tier of English football, with more pressure to win too. A shame, but if he wasn't up for the Fratton Park challenge, just yet, so be it.

We've had enough of London based talents, not quite up to it, so I can't be too dissappointed. We need a total buy in to the team ethic, and choosy talents with doubts are probably not going to cut it.

Move on.

Eisner assured us that there would be proper financial backing for a genuine promotion bid this season, there is no evidence that this has happened. We desperately need to spend some money to bring in some midfield creativity and attacking threat which at the moment seems very unlikely. If we do nothing I dont expect that we will tear up any trees and it will be a Rinse and Repeat of last season. So Hughsie we need you to pull a rabbit out of the hat and bring in the important player we need.

QPR are in all sorts of problems - their current fit centre backs have a combined total of 1 minute of league football.

Think he’s still available Mick,
Mous hasn’t ruled out getting him, that would be very nice thank you very much
