Morell booked - so unusual. I believe that's 4 yellows and a red this season - in 9 games! Who does he think he is, Yosser Tate?

Ridiculous. Does he deserve a spanking as well? Robertson needs to grow up a bit but since he and Kamara went off we've lost some impetus.
Super Matt Macey in goal...

How well did we play?

Very well apart from giving away a soft goal and we were hanging on a bit at the end
Overall I think we should have been out of sight at the end but the same old problem of dominating a game but lacking a final ball and an ability to create it
Robertson was good but lacks that experience to create the goals we need
Thought Kamara was outstanding

We can’t afford to play Sparkes in defence hopefully JM has got the message in future hope we play Shaughnessy there still a good win against a team that hasn’t lost a game this season.

Agree about Sparkes but was put in my place earlier for suggesting he can’t defend by another poster stating we signed him as a left back so should play him there

Lincoln lost their first game of the season and then unbeaten since then, until today of course.

We were just better than them, we had a number of chances where the ball would not just run

He might be a left back by name but it doesn’t make him a reliable one that we can trust, today was a good example of his inability to defend his strength is his crossing that’s all.

Think people should get off his back. He breaks up play, gets in the oppositions face, winds them up, never gives up nor backs down. So yellows and red are going to come his way.

So you would rather play someone who isn't a left back at left back? You who moaned so much (amongst many, many, other things) about players being played out of position.

Your suggestion this morning was to change the formation that has seen us go 20 games unbeaten and play Paddy Lane at right wing back.

I can only assume you have been partying with Snoop Dogg.

He was excellent at Derby and Barnsley, he sounded very good today. Players are going to get booked and we have good players to come in and cover for them. So I agree - it would be nice to see him cut out a few of the silly bookings but like Morrell you might lose their edge of you lose that.

I would agree about his good points but someone needs to have a quiet word in his ear by my reckoning that’s now 7 bookings most unnecessary like today have been due to immaturity and in some cases petulant behaviour
Today he had a good game but by getting booked for stupidity kicking the ball away in front of the referee he was a red card waiting to happen
But surely that’s why he is here to learn about such behaviour as well as his undoubted ability on the ball
