I can't help but feel he is posturing for a better deal in the summer somewhere.

But, surely he has to perform well for anyone else to be interested, especially to get a better deal elsewhere (unless of course, we pay peanuts). He must be of less interest and worth less now than in the first part of the season. There is clearly something not right and, from posts I read on here, it doesn't look to be a physical issue. Are there any rumours of any shenanigans in the dressing room? Any bust-ups maybe?

Interesting read here on the potential move to Bristol Rovers which collapsed in the summer window (sounds like Bristol Rovers just messed up the paperwork). Charlton and Wrexham were also mentioned then as having an interest and are the two clubs who have been most heavily linked now.

Other than him having a ban in the past for social media comments, I'm not aware that he's had any publicised off field problems at Peterborough but it's clearly surprising that they were prepared to sell a player for £800k in the summer having quoted around five times that price in the previous January window. Part of that can be explained by his contract running down but something else must have changed.
