Bloke seems to have his head screwed on so can't see him going there, not yet anyway.
Seems like he will want to achieve something first.

I think the Nathan Jones debacle is the perfect way to demonstrate the pitfalls of looking for greener grass. I'm sure Mousinho will be well rewarded if we get promoted and will also want to prove himself in the Championship for some time before considering anything else.
Also, strange weirdos lying around in bed distributing words is no basis for a system of factual articles.

Re: Mousinho paper talk
Mousinho to Sunderland reminds me of the rumours that Eddie Howe would move to Celtic.
Going to SAFC brings a huge weight of other expectations/baggage....it's an almost impossible
task for most managers....Mousinho has landed at a club at the right time and place.
I simply can't see him quitting Pompey at this stage. Yes, at the end of the season he might
reckon his star is in the ascendency and Sunderland's offer is too good to reject BUT...right
now he has a fascinating job on his hands. I remember criticising JM for his lack of experience..
he has broadly proved me wrong. Finish the job, take us up../.then consider other offers.
SAFC is a poisoned chalice. PUP.

'Broadly proved you wrong? He had built a potential division winning side from a bunch of average League One players [other's quotes, not mine] and has established an amazing team spirit and togetherness.SportMouth wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 11:19 am

I would suggest he has totally proved you wrong.
