Club have booked 3 open topped buses for 28th for a double celebration men and women each champions of their respective leagues should be quite a party
My daughter is friends with one of the women’s coaching staff and they were pre booked a couple of weeks ago thus why I know already

Still no yet confirmed will be up to council for road closures and old bill for security and safety etc

No parade entertainment on a stage from 1300 to 1600 with players planned to make an appearance at 1400 after going directly to the event
Should be a a nice event for all especially families only problem could be the weather forecast of showers all day

We are all going to this rain or shine !

The players, JM, the coaching staff, Andrew Cullen and of course Michael and Eric Eisner all deserve the adulation of the city.

Let’s not forget Pompey Ladies too, magnificent achievement to go unbeaten and become champions.

All of us going weather looks reasonable in the afternoon putting together a picnic for the younger ones with plenty of beers for me and my daughter tucked away in the cool bag

Great afternoon in good weather to celebrate the success of both men and ladies in achieving promotion to their relevant championships crowd mainly well behaved when we left despite loads of beers being consumed
Thanks to my daughters relationship with the women's team she had an access all areas pass so was able to take my granddaughter into the players area to meet the players behind the scenes so today was her "best day ever" and credit to the players giving their time to allow photos with her
