Silverstone today. 3 Brits in 1-3 on the grid. Let’s hope they it replicated on the podium.

I'd love that, but I can't see it happening.

Good race. Good to see Lewis in tears at the end. You can see how much this means to him.

I had a daughter in Texas messaging me about being excited watching the race, a wife who had to leave room in the closing laps and I’m supposed to the sports fanatic in my family. Back to tennis and cycling.

My old mum adores Lewis. And I must admit, I had a tear in my eye when he won today.

i do find it odd that they are now talking about Redbulls domination being over, because the car isnt as good, and yet when hamilton and Mercedes were doninant it was Hamilton that was dominant not the car :? strange given that Hamiltons team mates were always 2ns in the races, barring DNF's and Perez is nowhere to be seeen

With the greatest respect. PB2, you cannot surely be suggesting that the amazing Red Bull F1 car has not been the best car on the grid for the last 3 years? sadly, Chico is just not in the same league as Max, Lewis, Lando, George, Charles and Carlos.

no GB, of course I am not suggesting that at all, in the same way that the Mercedes was far and away the best car when Hamilton won a lot of his titles.
What I am suggesting is that some commentators seem to be suggesting that Max isnt as good a driver, its his car, where as when hamilton it was him not the car. If that was the case then Nico Rosberg is clearly in that list you have given too?

and for the record, yes i do think Hamilton is a great driver, but maybe not as great as he is sometimes made out to be

Absolutely agree that Max is a tremendous driver. The best teams, of course, want the best drivers. Hamilton drives for Mercedes, and soon Ferarri because they want the best. Max will go on to be one of the true greats I think, as is Lewis. Wouldn't it be amazing to see how they would get on against each other in the same car.

Hasn’t max said he wants to retire at an early age? I can’t see him coming anywhere close to Hamilton and Schumacher’s record. Especially so if Newey leaves RN. He’s a good driver. I just don’t think he’s going to the the legacy as an all time great.
