Laughter is the jam on the toast of life. It adds flavor, keeps it from being too dry, and makes it easier to swallow.

Honestly think we’ve played ok just need to be more clinical in front of goalBetelgeuse wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 3:56 pm We've looked very bright, just need that bit of luck. And a goalscorer.

Re: Team for West Brom???
Thought we played well but outclassed in the finishing department . It was always going to be tough the first 6-8 games. Let’s hope we haven’t given ourselves a mountain to climb by the time we start to play more mid table opposition

Re: Team for West Brom???
Positives:
McIntyre back and looked the part. Murphy looked good back from injury. Lang buzzing around causing problems. Swanson played well at right back. Norris surely puts to bed any doubts about him now. Poole back on the pitch. Aside from falling asleep in the first minute, we really gave a good account of ourselves in the first half.
Negatives:
Puzzling team selection playing a RB at CB when we had 2 CBs on the bench. Also Dozzell starting was a surprise and Farrell not even on the bench. Ogilvie just doesn't seem up to this level. Completely fell asleep for their first goal. We lack that clinical touch in attack needed at this level. Looked very flat in the second half chasing the game. Yengi injured late before the game.
Hopefully we can take the positives and iron out those negatives going forward.

The line up was pretty bizzare.phat_chris wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 5:45 pm Positives:
