Gad we not been promoted there was football league trophy games last night.

Ah. Sorry. Now I get it. For what it’s worth I loved our day out at Wembley against Sunderland. One of my fave Pompey games I’ve been to.

Were a good way to get cheap loyalty points especially for kids however and to give recovering /fringe players game time

Good point. I was in reading a few years back and went down to the EFL game against Stevenage just before Christmas. Cost me about a fiver. Great price to see the team I love play on a whim when relatively nearby.

I was gutted we couldn’t attend that game. I just have a feeling that had the fans been there perhaps we’d have seen a better performance. There’s still a creepy ass cut out of me in the shed window when you could pay to have one in the stands. I remember someone paid to have Henry in a Pompey shirt there. Strange times .

Yep I think we would have retained the trophy with fans.

I have a cut out that sometimes I put in my desk chair and join meetings with colleagues on teams and see how long it takes them to notice.
